Rules ? dog leaving tree

If three dogs are treed, one dog leaves before the judge sees him at the tree and gets minused. The other 2 handle their dogs then 10 seconds later the 3rd dog comes back does he get scratched if a opossum is seen?

I was scratched once for a possum and no one seen my dog on the tree nor was she treed in. She met us about 50 yds from the tree. UKC upheld moh decision everyone in cast said she was there at that time I had 825+ and the closest dog to me had 450+. Man was I upset.

If the dog is seen treeing or lieving the tree he would be scratched if he comes in after the cast arives the most he gets i minus
