Guy

Quite some time back you had one of your CB articles on how Elbert Vaughn built on females in his program. I have lost that book, plus those who don't get CB would benefit from reading that article and gain some insight. Any way to post it on here ??

Elbert Vaughn

Hello Wayne....I'm like the proverbial hog on ice creeping around this computer. Not sure I know how to put the column on the UKC board. If you would, send me your email address and I'll jpg you a copy of the text. See my email address a couple of replies up.

I think you're talking about the October 2014 CB issue, my column titled "Vaughn Centennial." It was a small commemoration of Elbert's 100th birthday. It did address the value of gender balance in pedigrees. If that's not the column you're interested in, I'll look around some more.

wheel breeding method

Not trying ti hijack the thread but the article on Elbert Vaughn stirred my memory a bit.
Lost my book that Guy wrote and somewhere I remember(10 or 15 years back) reading an article on the wheel breeding method that impressed me a good bit. was wondering if it was in a Bloodlines or Guy's Book.
would sure like to have it again.

Hello Don....I remember the article, although can't lay hands on it. I have another thing on Wheel Breeding I'll send along to you via your email. Thanks.

Thanks Guy

Got the e-mail--- guess I been kinda following it for some years.. I just thought of it as a blind hog method. ---picking a dog I liked and just pure blind luck there were some common hounds in the pedigree.
