Arkie dogs

Are there any dogs that go back to the Arkie dog? I've been away for a long time but would like to see what was out there now.

Perryman kennels and Kenbev are the two that come to mind on Arky dogs.

Ya I think they have some stuff with Arkie blood

Yes they go back to Kelly's dogs. I've heard good things about some dogs coming from Perryman's place.

Arkie bred hounds

Thank you Jamie Carter!
Yeah we've got some. Just about everything we have goes back to Littlejohn's Little Arkie and Littlejohn's Rock.
Kenneth Adkins has a lot of that blood too.

Hey Steve, I'm starting to get the itch. You got anything ? Don't know if I want a pup or something ready to start. But I'll figure it out

Kelly

I don't right now. Just sold the last male pup out of Arkie Jack we had. It'll probably be this Spring or Summer before I'll have anymore.

Arkie Dogs?

There are Arkie dogs and there are Lilltlejohn's Arkie dogs. Littlejohn's Arkie did have some Arkie in him.

Most strains or lines were built around several hounds. The Tahsuda's Arkie dog had a strain built from him-one dog! That was the Arkie dogs. Unfortunately the strain as we knew it is just about gone.

Good luck to those of you hunting the Littlejohn Arkie dogs. It would be nice if you would refer to them as such.

Kelly's dogs

I've never hunted with better. Kelly has always had the same strain and believe me they will impress you. I'd call Kelly Littlejohn

I have a year old female pup here at my house, the only one that lived from the litter off my old dog and a direct daughter of old Arkie and she is going to be SPECIAL.

She is running and treeing her own coon regularly, splitting consistently when hunted with other dogs, has a nice mouth and is a hard tree dog.

Like that post C.W.

Good luck to all who enjoy both lines.

Basically nothing left of either one of them.

One line crossed well on everything.

The other had One excellent cross, I seen outstanding dogs from both.
