22 dogs removed from Ross County home

Incidents like this make us all look bad.
The paper describes the dogs as foxhounds but later refers to them as "coon hounds." The dogs look like Walkers, and also look well fed and clean in the pix, but they are already at the shelter. This sounds like a hunter with more dogs than he can clean up after. If anyone is in the area and knows someone who loves to hunt with hounds and might be able to help this guy clean up and keep on top of the situation, it would certainly be a kindness to help out.

Sounds like the old fellow could use some help. With that many dogs, he could probably use some help handling them in competition, too. Bet there's a local hound-loving teenager who wouldn't mind cleaning kennels in return for a chance to handle competition dogs. And maybe the actual owner could chip in a bit to accomplish a thorough cleanup. Doesn't seem fair that the old man gets the blame.
Just saying, it sounds like the old fellow is in over his head and it wouldn't hurt for some of us to help him out even if they are foxhounds and the owner is off the premises.
