Electronic devices in Hunts. (Garmin)

I see the proposed rule failed but for the past few weeks I have heard the existing rule and the proposed rule tossed around so much it has gotten confusing.

Can someone post the rule in place now that we have to go by so everyone can read it and understand it. Thanks.

Its a simple rule , you can carry a alpha if you have a T5 collar ,, no Toning and shocking collars ,, so if you have a Alpha and cant afford a T5 , you have to leave it in the truck

That's my understanding

When using an Alpha, you may only carry the handheld with you if you are running a T5 collar. The T5 collars have no ability to shock or tone a dog. Same as if you were running a 320 with a DC-40.

If you are using an Alpha and running a TT15 collar then the Alpha is now treated just as you would treat a Tri-Tronics or any other shocking collar. The collar is allowed to be on the dog, but the handheld must be left in the truck.

Krystal

Are you going to get onboard with the PHKC? Don't be like Allen and Todd.

I hope this post don't cause them to send another big long yeller sheet I have to read before every hunt again. Takes me all night to read that thing. Plus I lost last yrs. So it may be a good idea to send extras. I like to have never found a replacement. Besides I think reading all that goes in one ear and out the other.

Only left in the truck?
How about on your person, but turned off? That's my understanding.

Only left in the truck.

If proposal 10 would have passed, then you would be correct, but that proposal did not pass.

PHKC

Yadkintar, Chewbach, and GAdawg, I guess that's our answer. Krystal is not on board with the PHKC. I guess them people up in Michigan just snub their noses to a good ole possum hound!!!

Thanks for the clarification, in previous discussion I was starting to even wonder if you could with a T5
