Is this a BMC?

I recently adopted a dog from a city animal shelter. They had him listed as a German shepherd mix. Some of my family saw a picture of him and immediately said he looked like a Blackmouth Cur. I've done some research and think that he might be.

What do the experts think? He's 8 months old. (Forgive me if the pic doesn't post correctly right away. I'm a newbie to this forum.):

To tell you the truth he looks nothing like a Blackmouth Cur to me.

Thanks for the response. I was just going off of pictures on the Internet. I have no experience with them personally. I doubted anyone would drop a purebred BMC at the pound, but you never know.

To be honest it looks as much like any other bmc i have seen sold on this site and others

I would say one of the few times the pound hit it right on their assessment of breed.

Chances are likely it's a Pit/Shepard. Good looking dog.

I don't believe bmc come with chrome. The white feet and chest. I see shepherd there as well.

Re: Is this a BMC?

I've got 2 OMCBA pups that are carbon copies. Mine are very hyper which might explain its being in the shelter.

BMC

Doesn't seem to have enough muscle tone for a BMC in my opinion ...
