Spanky is a very hard tree dog. Good bawl mouth on the ground. Very stay put chop mouth dog that will not pull. Natural hunter looking to get treed. Spanky is making a hound. He is bred to reproduce! Ryan, how wide does Spanky go with and without company? How does he handle and how does he tree (act) in company? I'm a big fan of ole Hammer XIII. I've owned two off of him and both were extremely good hounds. I know what mine were and was just wondering about a little more indepth info on Spanky. Also, how big is he? Thanks in advance.....Ron

Ryan I was wondering what kind of mouth he has?
I'm also a fan of Hammer XIII I hunted with him a couple times over the years and always liked what I saw.

Ron and Dave, Spanky hunts pretty good by himself, usually around 500 or more/less depending on the terrain. With company there is really no telling. We hunt mainly creeks down in Texas. Dave he has a good bawl mouth on track with one or two locates and then a steady chop on the wood kind of dog. He settles very quick. Can usually tree him on locate. Easy dog to hear. Not the loudest I have ever heard but definitely not an issue. Have never seen him leave a tree right or wrong. He has actually been sold and will be moving to South Dakota.

Yes Ron I would be able to provide either fresh cooled or frozen semen on Spanky. I personally prefer frozen for several reasons but fresh cooled is generally a cheaper option. He's gonna stay with Ryan until I get back from Autumn Oaks. You can call me most anytime if you would like @ 605-380-2260.
