Dc 40?

While hunting last night my DC40 collar failed. It shut off and would not come back on. Took apart and disconnected the battery then reconnected and did not solve the problem. Also when I try to put the collar on charge no lights come on. Does anyone know if Garmin still repairs the DC40?

No they don't,,they only repair from a dc50 and up,,
Awhile back,they quit repairing the astro 220and the dc20,30 and 40's

Well that sucks. I was hopeful they would still repair a 40. Some local dealers still have the Astro 320 w/ DC40 combos new in box.

I called garmin myself about a month ago to ask about the rumor of the 220, the 30's and 40's being discontinued and they told me that as long as they have parts then they will continue to work on them but they said that they will not be making any more. Well I don't know how many parts they have but you can buy everything to build a new collar on Ebay.

Just got off phone with Garmin. Said nothing they can do for my collar basically just throw it away and have to buy a newer one

There was a guy in GA replacing the mother boards. Search face book for dc 40 mother boards.
