watch list

Trump said that if you're on the watch list you shouldn't be allowed to buy a gun. I'm disappointed in this for two reasons. 1. He's wrong. Just because you're being watched doesn't mean you've done or will do anything that would prevent you from having a gun. 2. Why is he so quick to take our freedom away? He seems to think just because it seems right to him then there is nothing else to consider. Also, it's disappointing to see that he makes snap discisions. He should have at least consulted with some experts in the field. He seems to think he knows it all. These issues are not so simple. Someone needs to set him down and teach him about the issues. Man, he makes it hard to support him.

She supports nobody having a gun.A none vote for trump is most definatrly a vote for her and helping her get elected...I tend to agree. If your on a watch list. Been interviewed 3 times and known to of pledged isis. You shouldn't be able to buy a gun. I'll advise Trump better of his comments when I talk to him tonight. Course he gonna ban all muslims from coming here. I say do it. We may run the ones out thats here. So I guess Big O best be on his best behavior once he leaves.

Trump is meeting with the NRA an the Republican learders, JMO if anyone is on a FBI watch list or no fly list they should not be allowed to buy guns, Anyone that is being investigated buy the FBI should not be allowed to run for President!

I worry who will be in charge of the watch list. There are lots of people on the no fly list by "mistake".

The shooter in Orlando worked for the Dept. of Homeland security. He wasn't on any list NOW.

Just because the FBI has a or some reasons to suspect someone and is watching them doesn't mean that they are guilty of anything. They have a suspicion, not a conviction. Besides, if we allow them to take ones guns based on a suspicion, before long they'll be taking guns from everyone for one or another little thing that they can claim to be a suspicion. They can then take guns based on a hunch. Where would they draw a line. When they have taken every gun?
And no, I will not vote for shillery under any circumstances. She alone makes Trump palatable.
It's a sad, sad state of affairs when the American people select either Hillary or trump to be president. And it's the same people who would take ones guns because they had a hunch against someone.

You can make all the laws you want, BUT, here we are innocent until proven guilty. Every one gets due process. If you are NOT guilty of a crime, you should not be denied your constitutional rights.

So some here believe people should be arrested on a suspicion. Being on a Terrorist Watch List does not make one a terrorist. On the other hand there are many, many terrorist at heart, both domestic and foreign. Where would our leadership draw a line in what constitutes enough suspicion to take away ones freedom. Fallen, sinful man can not be trusted with that much freedom and power. Almost everyone would end up in jail. Remember, We are what we do, not what we think. We must thank GOD for the wisdom of our founding fathers who eventually gave us a 2nd amendment. Without which we would have no guns.

There is something like 40,000 people on the "watch" list with about 2000 added each month, Its possible there is a guy named Micheal on there. Only in other countries is it alright to punish you before you are found guilty. But hey you wanna turn the USA into china, vote Hillary.

What many of you has failed to realize is that anyone can end up on a watch list or a no fly list, many patriots and those that have strong convictions about the constitution. The sad fact is that Christians, state militia members, those who read and post on conservative sites, Constitutionalist and other God fearing Americans are viewed as a threat by our current administration and Dept of Homeland Security. Before you go thinking that those 700,000+ and some that our gov't is "watching" shouldn't be able to purchase a gun realize that the executive branch is responsible for who gets on the list and there is no due process involved anyone can end up on their list for any reason or none at all. This list is not just for who people like you and I feel would be considered terrorist. The liberal agenda is once again using a tragedy to further their agenda of disarming Americans. Others that are targeted for immediate disarmment are many SS recipients who are no longer able to look after their own affairs (think of your parents or grandparents who another family member may pay their bills or has a power of attorney over them), anyone including military who has ever suffered from PTSD, anyone who has ever taken an antidepressant their list goes on and on. Don't be fooled read the fine print in these bills they want voted on next Tuesday. Bad guys will always find a way, look at 9/11 box cutters caused the demise of over 3,000 do we need a watch list to tell who can buy a razor? Guns are the one major remaining thing left on BO's agenda and they go to any lengths to fulfill it for him.
Our fore fathers did not grant us a second amendment for self protection, hunting ect, they granted it to each individual so that we as a people being armed would prevent gov't tyranny and protect states from over bearing central gov't control and take over. All the bills they want to pass are using to fear to infringe on individual rights of the people to keep and bear arms.

Some felons who's crimes have long past yes. I know several that committed crimes when they were young served their time and live perfectly normal productive lives now and should be allowed to own guns again.
4play you our I or any one else on this board could end up in one of their so called list there is no due process and when the executive branch of the government is in charge of who can own firearms the 2nd amendment will be nothing more than writing on an old piece of paper.

Are yall liberals or what. If somebody named Michael is on there and hes pledged alegence to isis and we know this. Yall do more than not let him buy a gun. Just bust his door door and shoot him. Cause thats what isis would do if I was living there and they found out I had pledged alegence to the usa. Big ol difference in a isis terrorist watch list and a crazy redneck watch list. One just doesn't want to be dictated to and tries to elect decent folk and hasn't went on mass killing sprees lately in gay bars. The other. I don't recall the 2nd amendment having a clause in it that said a person has to prove a need to bear arms. Dude , do you know who is in charge of who gets on the watch list, do you know what it takes to get on there? I believe ole hitler had a list also. Due process is due process, if you are an American citizen you ARE innocent until proven guilty. If you think this list is just for muslims you are very wrong and when this threat is overwho will be the next one for the list?

If the people will just give them enough power and surrender all our rights, they will fix all our problems. There are some of this board who would be ok with that.
