+++++flea's+++++

What is the best thing to use to get rid of the flea's,,
This year is terrible,,I use seven dust in the house and I even sprinkle some on the dogs,,plus I am using Permethrin 10%,,I deluge it to a spray,using 2 to 3 ounces per gallon of water,,not sure if I'm using enough or not,,
That's why I'm here and asking for suggestions,
Can I just put the permethrin on straight,,and if so,,how much?
What do all of you's use to keep those nasty flea's away???
Also,I've seen on here about a pill called bravecto,,,or something like that,,I think they said its a 3 month pill,,does it really work?,,and if so,what is the cost,,I think the post said something like it kills them within 4 hours,,kindda hard to believe that,,but I'm willing to give it a shot if it's true,,
Thanks in advance for any suggestions,,they will be greatly appreciated.....

I had Fleas very very bad this year. I used Bifen I T. 2ozs /Gal to spray the yard and pen, and gave the dogs Nexgard from the Vet. That is the only way that I got them under control. I haven't seen any fleas in the last week. Hope that helps.

blue dawn dish washing detergent will kill em. Then but a cow tag and hang on em. I hear orange is the one to get nowdays. Bayer tree and shrub will also kill them. Fleas are never to bad here for some reason. Ticks are terrible.

I got the last Bifen I T from ordering on line. I bought a gal this year for somewhere around $50.00, but a feed store has it here in louisiana.

If you can find it, usually at a farm store or vet I use Spot-On. My niece is a vet so I have access to it.
1 small drop on the back of the neck lasts a month. Used to find it in a pint jar, will last forever using 1 drop a month and is good for both fleas and ticks.

Bayer cattle tags work great Bayer also makes a collar it's $54 dollars but is guaranteed for 8 months I also have used a 30 day pill I got from the vet and it works good I think they were $18 a piece

I thought about the collar,,my mom bought some of the bayers from dr.foster and smith magazine,,she paid 45 bucks each,,,supposed to last 8 months,,but I don't think they work as advertised,,dogs have had them on about a month,,and I still see them scratching,,but not as bad

fleas are hard to get rid of. You must be persistent. You can spray your dog with a good flea spray but you must do it every week or two weeks depending on what the label directs. I use Davis Flea & Tick Mist and Adams Flea & Tick Spray Plus. One time I use one and then the next time I use the other. After a few months my fleas were gone. Now I use the sprays once a month but I watch for the 1st flea the show up. I used permetherin but the fleas seems to like it.
I order my sprays from Jeffers on the internet. I also cleaned out my dog houses real good and sprayed they inside and out and around the pen with Bifen spray that I got from Lowes. But if you keep the off the dogs long enough you won't have them.
