What amazes me !

When a big time winner aka handler goes to winning it becomes stylish to use the same equipment he uses wear the same clothing he wears even drive the same vehicle he drives the they draw him next day they want to get rid of all of it lol!!

I have always felt that if you don't earn the respect of the handlers that you went to the woods with, it matters not what your dog has won at the end of the night.

But that is not saying you won't fool the general public who knows nothing about you or your dog. I like a good dog as well as the next man but I will turn the other way every time when either handler, or hound does not meet my definition of a true sportsman!!

When that combination comes together in one package then true greatness can be accomplished, but without one or the other, these type hounds and handlers will only be a flash in the pan so to speak.

Now I am in no way an expert in this field, I am only stating what it takes to earn my respect when I am competing against fellow coon hunters.

I haven't had a bad cast in years but I was looking at some of the mean mouthing on Facebook the other night boy some of those guys are far from getting any respect from anybody but they might not care as long as they get paid.

Respect.

I was at the UKC Winter Classic a few years ago and what I learned about a man really opened my eyes. This guy is a well known breeder and owner of some famous stud dogs but after standing near him and hearing the way that he talked and presented him self I was ashamed to be in the same crowd as he was. I had never heard such language and the thing about it was he never knew the respect that he lost that weekend just by not knowing how to conduct himself in public.

I wanna know what kind of light Yadkintar and Bruce use? What boots and what kind of doughnuts are your favorite ? Lots of good info about hunting and life come from you two guys . I'm only 50 but when i grow up i wanna be like you guys !

Jeff I am just an old country boy that haven't and ain't never going to have nothing but quite a few of the brag dogs I did the leg work and sombody else got the credit but maybe that's a compliment because I trained them well enough that sombody could brag on them oh by the way 21 volt valley creek belt light 15yrs old lacrosse boots ( leather ones ) 2 yrs old (put lots of mink oil on them ) want an led light but hurts my neck that battery on back sprinkled donuts lol
