Dog only comes halfway in heat?

One of my dogs was recently starting to come in heat. She was bleeding and swelling, then she stopped! Now she is going back down to normal. She is coming on 7 years old. Anyone had this happen before?

I don't know about ALL problems but it sure affects a females heat cycle. What do you two doctors suggest might be the problem?

For issues like this it defiantly could be a thyroid issue
