Dawg , I've not been looking for quite a spell now,but I have a feeeew if ya know what I mean . But I will check on them I do need to add to my .22 mag collection so I can bust a yote or 2 .

Thunderbolts are crap but I got some today along with some Winchester. They even have 22 mag here now to. That stuff is high dollar. I looked at some today at academy. Tomorrow Im hitting the pawn shops. May as well buy bullets. INterest rates suck. I could make more money on bullets than my money will draw in a bank lol.

If not for the hoarders, we've have never had a shortage. I've never run out!!!

If the hoarders want to suck up all the supply, I can always go back to the shotgun days (that's what we used to use). That's way back!!!

I almost ran out myself but I dont plan on ever being low again. Anytime Im anywhere that has some. Im buying atleast one box. Who knows I may wanna head north one day and kill some easy coon.

Finding 22 ammo is better here than it was, most places have a couple boxes of something. Finding your favorite is a whole other story. It could take a yr or more to get fortunate enough to find and buy a particular brand and type you typically shoot.

22 Ammo

Here in Virginia, I never saw a 22ammo shortage. I have been reading about it for a long time but never saw it. Certain large retail stores like walmart saw these shortages but the local Firearms dealers always had 22ammo. They just had to limit the purchases. Some people wanted to come and buy everything on the shelf, and just because they read about something the socialist media put in a news paper column.
All I had to do was ask and for a box or 2 when needed and they brought it out to me. My friend owns a local Firearms store and he never had trouble purchacing ammo and he never had to raise the purchase price for it, just limit the quantities.
My opinion is some distributors for the these large retail stores got together and hoarded the ammo and created this scare to everyone and thus being able to raise the prices at these locations putting money in there pockets and causing the public to go into a frenzy all just for some 22 ammo, and here it is almost 2 years later and people are still hoarding 22 ammo.
My what PUPPETS we are.
I just hope they dont put a shortage on my Snuff. I would be dancing from them strings for sure.

Never did put any stock in that shortage stuff, just a ploy to push up the price and get folks to go on a crazy buying spree. All they have to do is say some politician is going to take our guns and it's off to the races! I didn't give the companies the satisfaction of making a profit off of me. I've always kept a few hundred rounds around even before all this hype. Course I don't waste a lot of ammo. I hit what I aim at and don't count on having more ammo to back me up. I was at Cabela’s the other day and they had quite a bit of 22 ammo and it seemed the price is much lower than a year ago. 22 mags is a different story. They had CCI 22 standard velocity for 4 something a box of 50 which was still high but much lower than a while back. I use standard velocity for squirrel and coon, and my gun handles it better than the high power shells. Don't take much if you hit them in the head. Good luck and keep buying up all those 22 shells and keep those prices up

I found lots more today at a couple pawn shops. They have lost their minds on prices though so I didnt buy any. Went and got me a blizzard and rode around looking for secret coon huntin spots

Well Im bout to head out and check one more place. I just saw on FB they were over stocked. Had no limit of purchase. I need some cheap dog food for feeders anyhow. May as well buy bullets while Im getting it. That no limit has me worried though. I hope they are not dirt cheap. I'll leave broke lol.

Just drive to north Ga. I bought bout 550 more but didnt wanna brag lol. Check Ga outdoors trader. Look under ammunition. I saw lots on there today. About .07 cents is as cheap as Ive saw on there.
