Just how do you decide which bathroom you "belong" in? Isn't that what all of the controversy is about? I am having a hard time figuring this out. I realize that it is very easy for most men/women to decide which one bathroom to use. But apparantly there are several out there who can't seem to decide if they are a man or a women.
What if a "person" dresses like a woman and looks/acts/feels like a woman but has male genitals. Which bathroom should he/she use? Wouldn't they look awfully funny going in the mens room? I wonder what would happen if she/he went into a crowded mens bathroom?
On the other hand what if a woman looked/acted/felt like a man but had female genitalia? Which bathroom should she/he use? I would think that women would be a lot more tolerant of he/she going into the womans bathroom. But then, they might not.
Would you rather have a women that thought that she was a man going into the bathroom with your son or daughter? The same goes for a man that thought, acted like and dressed like he was a woman. They are going to have to go to the bathroom somewhere. Which one do you think that they should use?
It sure is confusing these days. In the past, people who were "different" kept it to themselves. Then along came, "don't ask, don't tell". Now we have "openly". The times, they sure are a'changing.

I don't think men feel all that threatened by a woman using there restroom . Even if she were dressed like a man , they would probably be more bothered by the man dressed like a woman standing up to pee next to them .
As a woman we don't want you in our restrooms regardless of what you are wearing , we really don't even like sharing the bathroom at home ! No one born a female is going to go in a men's restroom unless it's an emergency , ours are usually clean w/ no pee on the seat , floors or walls . In this whole mess I have not heard or read one report of a female who dresses like a male trying to get men's bathroom privileges it's always the other way around .

Yeah and the problem is as of now the interpretation is wide open. A person doesn't have to be dressed like a woman and identifying as a trans whatever. They can be a full on bearded up man and say they feel like a woman today and places like Target are not going to argue with them.

And it doesn't stop at bathrooms. Just wait and see what public schools that go along with this nonsense will have to deal with. Bathrooms, locker rooms, showers.

Your right. No man is bothered by a woman in the bathroom with em. Now a man dressed as a woman could be a little weird. This bathroom deal is more about yall. I really wish these women with any sense would raise cain about it. I mean I see them here where I live for it this bull crap but MY county here has been over run with idiots from somewhere. I give em Heck on facebook though lol. Yall can check out on there focus on Forsyth. The dictator that runs it prolly want let ya join. Just this week I got in trouble, cussed, made fun of just for posting dead coyote pics. Crap Im in the deep south. Not supposed to be any goofy, crazy, tree hugging transgenders here lol.

If you are dressed like a woman, why would anyone care if you went in there and sat down in one of the stalls and closed the door? Why is this such a problem all of a sudden? Mr Ghorley you are right. Men will just whip it out anywhere and pee and be proud of it. They don't care who is watching. If it wasn't against the law, we wouldn't even have men's restrooms, just more trees.

And Jen, I didn't think that most states have had any laws to regulate this in the past. I wonder why there is such a problem now? What started all of this anyway? Why is it such a big deal? Has anyone actually been arrested for using the wrong bathroom? Or has there been a lot of "situations" reported where someone used the wrong restroom? I still don't understand just what the big deal is.

I also think that it is up to them to decide that and not me. You are right, God made them. So it is up to the person and God, not me, to decide.

You want your little girl to be molested by sorry sum beach that will claim to identify as a woman just so they can go in with em. Thats your business. I have no problem with the real he/she. Lots of us would never even realize they doing it. Probably been doing it for a while. Nothing but problems will come from this. Check your local sex offender lists. These scrum cant live around a school or anything but now a law makes it legal for em to use a woman's bathroom. Now if you cant see what the problem is. Something is wrong with you. May wanna look in the mirror an try an figure it out.

you know for a while we have all been trying to figure what the real problem is here. Are they male? Are they female? Which restroom to use? Is that the problem here, an answer to those questions? REAL ANSWER is NO! The REAL PROBLEM is in the White House. Our squatting to pee leader can't decide where he belongs, and all the congress folks who are scared to death to tell the truth and take a stand for what is right. Throw them out on their a**es and put some good willed American citizens in their place and things will start to change. We can not stand 4 more years of Democrats people. Female security guard @ a DC grocery store was arrested after a man refused to leave the female restroom . After she escorted this man from the store, who I don't believe was even dressed as a woman , he called the police and she was arrested for a hate crime and charged with misdemeanor assault .

I heard on the TV yesterday that what Obama signed was only a "Directive" and that it only stated what "should" be done. They also said that the Fed Gov could "possibly" withhold money from states that did not require their public institutions to comply with it. They said that it said that public institutions should "make available" separate bathrooms for transgender "people". Now that doesn't sound to me like there is going to be any laws coming that say that a man can go into a woman's bathroom. The TV said that it was a political ploy to appease the transgender people and get gay votes gor Hillary. They said that it would not make any real difference.

Now this was just what I heard on the TV, so I don't really know if there is much truth to it or not. It seems that they all put their own slant on what they report. Does any one know what is really going on or if there is any truth to the report that I heard?
