Bboa Zone 5 Members Need Your Input

At the zone 5 championship this past weekend ,we discussed a lot of ways to

increase the attendance at our zone hunts.

A few officers and myself came up with a plan that I want to run by and get

input on from the members of zone 5

We discussed having a dog of the year award.

This is the set up for the dog of the year.

Each dog would receive 25 points for each cast win at all zone 5 events. A dog

would receive 5 bonus points if it won it's category ( Maximum of 30 points per night.)

At the end of the year (last zone hunt of the year) the dog with the most points

would be crowned zone 5 hound of the year.

Please give us some feed back on your thoughts about this but please stay on

point with the subject at hand and not take this discussion in 50 different directions.

I think it would be a great idea. Would like to see the end results worth the run if you won it. I'm all in. We need to get more involved in these hunts are they are likely to die.

I agree that this is a good idea. The event at Hawesville,ky last weekend was second to none. As members of Bboa we all share one common interest the Bluetick hound.The purpose of our events is yes to promote our hounds, but we also attend to swap stories, see old friends,meet new friends, and socialize. I feel like this program will help to increase our numbers while driving people to attend the zone events.

great idea jj need to incorporate bench dogs also butch glass
