Freddo is a coondog and from the famous Lock Box/boots cross that produced Medleys stud Gr. Nt. Ch. Medleys Hardwood Weego.
He sailed through to his Nt. ch. degree as did Dual ch Hawkins Bocephus dog and Medleys dog and the Moon female (sister) who had 3 straight first place wins.

Gil bred the 2009 Canadian Open Pkc hunt and I think is a gr. Nt. ch. and heavy clover bred.
He has another female that should be in heat any time to cross on freddo.
If you live in the Virginia area, you need to look Gil and Freedo up and get some of this blood. this cross produced a whole litter of Dynamic coondogs at super young ages. this cross fast cycled Lock Box's breeding career.

Gil is a solid guy and worthy of taking your female to his stud dog. Good looking hound and a tree dog. That whole litter was not only dynamic tree dogs, but they won everywhere in UKC and PKC by having the coon. That's what counts. All of them are bad independent and will throw that.

I've been to the woods a handful of times with Freddo, most recently I drew him in a RQE and he won the cast. Freddo is a coondog and Gil is a very honest guy to deal with.

Good to hear Travis. I never met Gil

But have communicated with a bunch with Freddo and I have been in contact with the previous owners of Freddo since he left my place as a weaning pup. All his brothers and sisters were all the same...early starters and coon tree-ers. I believe that First female he bred is the real deal so I think folks will see pretty soon that Freddo will be a dynamic reproducer. Stay in touch with us on here and keep us posted on any progress they make. Like you what contact I've had with Gil I could tell he was a class guy.He never trashed another man's dog and never blew his up.He just said He's a nice dog that can tree coons and win in the hunts because of it.

Lacks 1 win being s Gr.Nt. CH. And he won every hunt by treeing a coon somewhere by himself. Always deep and alone
Weego one of his other brothers won a cast with like 550 and the next closest score in the cast was like 50-. Now that's dominating a cast.You Virginia boys need to check this dog out.
