Walking a dog along the road

Will walking a dog alongside an unbusy road just teach it to hunt right off the road? I have heard of dogs that only want to run on the side of the road. Would this cause that? She is leashed when I would walk her by the way. Thanks

I hunt 5 nights a week, except when got a lot tore up, On those nights I run mine on four wheeler 8 miles. Had one female that would burn a road up because of that, all others it did not affect them at all.

I almost always road hunt. When they pick up a scent, they go. Sometimes I walk them through the woods and when they pick up a scent, they go. they never go to a road just to road down the road unless they've finished and are looking for me.
