Rob and his pocket sized redbone put on a full sized 1st place win at Clinton Missouri last night. 825+ and no minus. Great job!

Thanks guys I appreciate it. Got beat last night though. Had 700 plus last night but then she got a blank. Guess it happens to everybody once in awhile but I watched her get out and get treed and hold pressure on every tree. I was still proud of her. You win some and lose some. Richard she has more Zack and probably about the same of Ace. She is loaded with it just like I like it. Danny you know what I think of Gus. If you like a big dark Red hound that goes hunting, gets struck guick and is a hard treedog with a great mouth you just discribed Gus. Thanks again.

Well Allen I usually don't refer to Dolly as an it. I have her 4 generation pedigree here in front of me and I don't see Timber Jack there. He might be back further than that I don't no for sure but I don't think so. If he was there I would have no problem saying it at all. To me that would be nothing not to admit to. All I know is I have a little dog I am proud of that I got from Bill Laue in Nebraska at 6 months old because she had Zack up close top and bottom. I trained her and like her.

No disrespect to her Rob, I was referring to the pedigree when I said it. I was just joking with Richard. I'm sure she's a good one and the fact that she's out of your own stuff is even something more to be proud of. She sounds like a winner to me and I wish you the best with her in the hunts.

I never had any problem breeding to those liver colored Ace/Chief bred dogs and actually encouraged it in my ads. Crossed well on our stuff! I was actually an Ace fan in the 70s and I came close to buying a good one named Ralph that Terry had. He was the best I hunted with back then. Tough dogs and Tree Dogs! I don't think there was a better tree dog in the country. Ace really helped put the Redbones back on the map. My Gr.Nt.Ch. Bussrow Bottom Brandy II was a tree dog like that and I always got compliments on what a hard tree dog she was. She went back to Ace through Shooting Star. I'd take 10 more just like her.

Terry will tell you today Ralph was the best dog he ever owned. He shows up twice on one of my hounds. Shooting Star was a littermate to my old Buster dog and to Bakers Red Cassidy. That was the best cross I ever seen made.
