I Have A Question About A Heat Cycle

I HAVE BREED MY FEMALE BUT DO NOT BELIEVE SHE IS GOING TO HAVE PUPS.DO I EXPECT HER TO COME IN 6 MONTHS FROM HER LAST CYCLE OR FROM HER PUPPY DUE DATE.SHE IS DUE NEXT WEEK..

Any females I have had miss have usually come in heat again bout 6 mos if they usually cycle regularly 6 mos. Had a couple females that only come in yearly, had one miss a breeding and sure enuff false pregnancy and she came back in in 14 mos so I guess there is no sure way to tell just keep an eye on her.

Heat cycle

Hey Steve my name is John Shuman I live in southeast Georgia. I'm not as experienced as mr Doug on breeding dogs but I did have the same experience with my female, as you are having with yours, she went thru a false pregnancy. She came in exactly 6 months from her last cycle even with going thru a false pregnancy and from best I can tell she is pregnant now with some Woody pups that I can't hardly wait to get here, just felt obligated to comment since I just went thru the same situation.
