How would you score this
You are running elimination style. You have a winners pack going back out 3 dog cast. One dog barks and gets 100 minus the 2 dogs don't open up at all time runs out they are tied 0 to 0. How would you score this to get first and second place on elimination hunt.

How it should be done is put the dog with 100 minus back in the truck and let the other two dogs go head to head for an hour. That is what we would like to see. But as we all know, more than likely it is going to go back to the previous round score or better yet, a coin flip. We all know how a coin flip brings back the best dog, LOL.

The dog with 100- gets third and the other two go back to previous round scores to determine 1st and 2nd

Previous round score. If still tied use tie breaking rules for that round (semi final round) If still tied use previous rd prior to Semi finals and so on. If all tie breakers have been used and it's still a tie flip coin.
I stand corrected. In a regular elimination style hunt once you get to the winners pack. Placement is done the same as regular hunt. Its the clubs discretion if to flip or run for an additional hour (s) until a winner is determined.
Understand semi-final round ties revert to previous round score.
This is different from World Hunt rules.
Might be a good rule proposal going forward.

It's all one and the same because I have a better spot then Allen don't mean my dog did more than his to be placed higher so a coin flip is no different. I am like dave I think a rulle purposal is coming... I have seen world champions rewarded on circle points or minused and to me that's a hard one to swallow just like a coin flip. just my 2 cents. we just need to follow the rules . thanks
I agree that using the previous round score rewards the better running spot more than determining which of the dogs would score more points in an hour in the same running spot. Don't know how the coin flip ever became a factor in determining which dog becomes the next champion... None of the other dog events that I had experience with ever flipped a coin to choose the winner. Would be best to let the dogs run it off whenever possible.
I thought clubs gave the owners/handlers the choice between running it off or flipping a coin. Never realized it was the club's decision. Has been a while for me ... better read the new rule book.
