Ranger x Sandy Creek Jake or T-top

Has anyone tried it? Mr. Brinson's Ranger dog bred to a Jake or T-top bred female. If so how did it work?

I don't know if it's been tried or not Kevin. Richard may know. I think you have made a great choice though. Good luck with the cross. I'm glad you were able to send sage and buddy out east where there are some hunts. They are in good hands with Chris.

Thanks Mike. I think it's a good choice and Chris is a good friend. Sage threw a kink in the plan and started bleeding last night. The hauler is supposed to pick them up March 8th so there's no way I'm going to get her there in time. Oh the joys of living so far from everything. It's not the end of the world. Chris sent the check out today for the semen so I guess we'll just have to wait for her next cycle unless i can pull off a miracle between now and next week when she is standing.

Ranger daughters seem to cross real well with T-Top males (Rocky X Bembe) so I don't see why a T-Top femle shouldn't cross with Ranger semen. I have seiously considered that myself but just haven't gotten around to it, too many choices, too little time.

She's a Sandy Creek Jake daughter out of Lexus (Rat x Raven) and we have the go ahead on the semen and the check's in the mail so it will happen and we'll see where the chips fall. I'm pretty confident that it will work. Thank you for taking the time to reply.

I wish I had lots of time.....and money......then I could really do whst I want with these dogs! Hopefully we get some pups in the hands of serious competition hunters then everyone can see if they make it or not!
