Big Weekend

Oh my goodness.... The Florida State Hunt with Purina Points on the line; SETWAD with the chance to beat all of those big name walker dogs and that Redbone Breed Championship hunt out in Mo are all this weekend. Good luck to all of the Redbones hunting this weekend. I hope that we have some more big winners to "talk about" on Monday.

I heard thru the grapevine that Justin Jayroe was going to be hunting at SETWA Days and his dad's Dog who was a double cast winner at the Wintewr Classic was going to be at the Florida State hunt. Good luck to the Jayroes.

Larry and Psalm got beat in the CHKC shoot out in Conway Ar. But they did get in the $$$ Thursday and Saturday nights. Psalm has 11 of 15 cast this year.

I didn't stick around long enough to find who won. I was a spectator on a cast with 4 walker dogs. They were all scratched for chasing a donkey.

Congrats to Larry and Psalm...its good to see at least one redbone got a win this weekend, somebody said there were a few others but I dont see anything on the board about that....

Shane, didn't I see on the other board where you and Mac got a win? I think that they are keeping track of Psalm's wins on that other board also. I guess that Don doesn't think that anybody looks at it. He keeps posting them over here but the moderators took them down. I find it very understandable, since he is so proud of Psalm. I believe that Psalm is a pup out of Gr Nt Ch Bear's Crosscountry Deuce.

I can see them having a problem with promoting a hunt by another registry before the hunt or promoting another registry ...but recognizing a dog after it gets a big win is not doing that...it is promoring the dog on an accomplishment after the fact. Some get by with it on here...alot...but when its my dog ...it seems to vanish like the win never happened.
It is what it is...there are politics and personal preferance in everything these days. Anyway, congrats to the others did well with a redbone this weekend...wherever it may have been.
