Just to set the record straight I am an independent. And I do know the bible very very well. And the fact that any professing Christian would vote for a morman is no different than votin for a muslim,hindu, or jew. It goes against everything the bible stands for. Imo they are not Christians they are a cult same as jahovahs whitness. Ok hank hanograff says the same. And he is an ambassador for christ. The bible revolves around free will with one to answer to in the end. And for all the gossipers on here gossip is found right next to homosexuality in a list of abominations toward God so if your a Christian quit complaining and pray. And be content awaiting the promised land.

They also say that fence straddlers are found next to gossipers, Lol.

Well I didn't see what was posted (because they POOF the whole thread). But I wish the Mods would POOF only the select post that get out of hand and not the whole dang threads.

I don't really care what is posted as long as it's not vulgar or threatening. Strong opinions are fine with me even if I don't agree with left wingers and I almost always don't.

Seems a bit over zealous to be deleting whole threads in my opinion, but my opinion may get me Poofed too.

I only bring religion in to prove a point. Not to start a fight or for any other reason. I just find it amusing that the ones who present themselves as conservative Christians either don't understand the bible or havnt read it. Or at least it seems that way to me. It's the same reason I havnt been to church in four yrs. I got tired of listening to someone peach about something they don't understand and then tell me my business. Or ask a question and nobody can come up with an answer that has any weight behind it. I've studied apologetics And I think I have a pretty clear understanding of it. And what I gather from it is take the bible word for word or not at all. Read it in context and you'll find that most people just make up stuff allowing the way to justify their life. And there was a study done on churches and the amount of money they take in and did you know that if every church would take care of the poor in a 4 block radio us there would be no need for welfare pretty interesting to me seeing how that's what the bible tells us to do. It doesn't tell us to build extravagant buildings to worship in. But i guess they are just being conservative in their spending.

I don't disagree with one word you said but if the church is supposed to take care of the poor widowed and orphans why can't the gov help out on my dime I don't see a problem with it.

Don't get me wrong I'm not griping about them just saying what I've noticed maybe I've just been burnt out? For a couple yrs. I'd go to the bad part of town and feed homeless, druggies, what have you tried to bring a little light into the world but I guess it just wore me out all of that out of my own pocket I might ad. I did make a failed attempt at being a good Christian. But I'm man enough to admit I failed. Did you know Billy Graham said that probably %20 of the church are saved actually saved that's coming from one of the most prominent evangelicals of our time! Heck better than half don't even know what the bible means by church. These things don't make sense to me. I really don't want to offend anyone just don't see how a group of people who can't even agree on their own beliefs can try to force them into law.
