That big thrill

I showed two pups their first coon tonight. They both went crazy after it. Not trained by no means but in an instant I saw there lives changed forever . What a rush !! I've been hunting almost 30 years and I get just as high watching a pup click the first time as I did when I started. The possibilities are endless could this be the best dog I've ever had and world champion to be ? Probably neither BUT you never know. I hope that thrill never goes away.

There's nothing like walking to a pups first tree looking up and seeing that coon and then all the hopes and dreams to follow I am happy for you Jeff hope they make good ones for you.

That why I do it, I get board once they are finished.

Yes sir it is a thrill taking pups out and watching them mature from running around and playing to climbing up on the hard wood with a coon!! I still get a thrill out that! after 50 + yrs!! GOOD LUCK!!! PS! I am not as old as Yadkintar but iLL get there! lol

No donuts for me I am becoming a lean , mean , coonhunting machine going to take the new dog tonight get ready for the Texas hunt I am taking no prisoners lol !! Oh maybe a couple for breakfast once in a while won't hurt nothing !!

Tar you should be running 5 miles a day and be pumping iron in all your free time. You have to in shape bud
