Me and a Buddy went out last night around 9 and hunted till around 11 or so. Snowing and had 2 inches on the ground around 20 degrees. Made 2 drops and seen 2 coon. No big mistakes on either dog. I thought it was a good hunt.

It ain't much right now these bottoms were 20 ft under water not nothing left but mud I would have rather dodged the stickers !!
18 inches of snow 2 weeks ago then rain and cold moved in and now 8 inches more 10 degrees now and will be 0 degrees by morning and cold the rest of the week then more snow the first of week and who knows after that , nothing moving with the bad weather and pop up storms and roads blocked from snow and slides and downed trees and so on , what was we talking about crappie fishing ..
Whew keep your chin up its got to get better ain't nobody around here having very good hunts and some of these boys got nice hounds all I got is an old crazy dog lol !
Are you having better hunts where it wasn't flooded? We are located at the foot hills of the Ozarks but its flat as board from here to the Mississippi river. If we get 2 inches of rain our bottoms are flooded for 2 weeks. I noticed a long time ago we had trouble not long after the water went down. I have a theory but its a little to crazy to put on here.
This is from 2 nights last week 12 trees and 12 coon. I treed 6 night before last and 2 last night. So no not everybody is having crappy hunts but there is always tonight.

PKC Ch, Grch Grnch 2008 Tx state champion They call me Crazy Betty
PKC SCh CH Grnch They call me Howler too
I actually think we lost a lot of coons due to distemper right after the flooding we have lost a lot of our privet land due to deer leases so we are down to mostly gov land the flooding just wiped everything clean nothing for them to eat old crazy dog you put her in coons she will get her share it's tuff we might make 4 dumps before we get struck I am just going to keep going till it gets better.
Going tonight gonna stay till I end the bad streak( I hope lol )
