Cameron Question

I don't know much about most Bluetick bloodlines but I'm wondering about the big game Cameron dogs and if in general they would make for good competition coon hounds in the midwest? Are they fast or slow on the track? Do they tree hard or do they hardly tree, any comments or answers? Would the Cameron bloodline make a good cross with say a Jet bloodline? Thanks.

Some years ago i had a female that was Cameron bred.

Pretty good nose, good mouth, average track speed.

She wasn't enough tree dog for me.

Nothing very special about her

She was just one dog, though, and I have no idea how typical she is of his breeding.

The only thing that was very impressive about her was her looks.

I sold her and a man bred her to a Bullet bred male and got some real outstanding hounds out of that cross, however.

I guess that part was impressive.
