Coon Population Question
Ok guys I live in Tennessee where the coon population is fairly thin. Need you guys to chime in and let me know where y'all think is best to hunt. Night after night, week in, week out, month to month where do you have best chance to tree more than a couple coons a night...Illinois? Indiana? Ohio? Michigan? Iowa? I've got a young female that has all the tools and is close to being exactally what I want. I think she needs a few nights of hunting in an area where she don't have to hunt all night and run it in the den. Looking for info and thick coons. Where do I need to go soon as winter lets go?
coon
wis. is a coon hunters pardise.use to go there years ago.mich is good ohio about the same as mich.
i hunted marion ohio a few years ago and it was full of coons.that has been a few yrs ago you may want to check with some local hunters now to see if the population is still the same or less.
