Who has a top redbone prospect that they will compete with in 2016?

Lets hear about the new crop of competition redbones in the pipeline who has something special that might be making their competition debut this year?
Whats their age and their breeding?
What do they have that makes em stand out and may give them an edge over the competition?
I think this could be a pivitol year for the breed in competition achievment so lets hear about some the the talent that awaits...

Got several Danno pups I think yall will be hearing about this spring. A few are out of Cross Country Mandy, and a few are crossbred. The crossbred pups are turning the crank!

Gotta be more young exciting dogs out there than just those few...
We got some nice prospects that are making us smile a lot that you might see at a hunt this year....
Doug Moore has a male he likes out of Woody x Outlaw Billy Jean
Danny and Taylor are close to finishing Moonlight Trip to Grand (Jet x Bree)
Ive got Hoosier Daddy (Billy the Kid x Willow) and Moonlight Addiction (Shock x Bree)
David Woofter has Buster ( Shock x Bree)
Shabel has Hunter ( Jet x Bree)
Artie has Pistol (Jet x Bree)
Terry Tappy has a male out of ( Woody x Outlaw Billy Jean)
Zac Vote also has one out of (Woody x Outlaw Billy Jean)
Danny and Jesse have a male out of ( Jet x Ky Kate )
And there are several other that i cant think of off the top of my head that are cranking and might see competition later this year.

Too soon to tell here...but...

Still working on a firey female off Breanna that'll be tough once she gets it all together. She's quick, she's loud, and likes the dark.

Also working steady on my son's Guitar Ghost x Walker Mtn female (linebred outlaw). He has a real nice locate and likes to get alone, which is making it tougher to train but hopefully he'll finish out solid.

Pr Smith's West Ky Rose

Remember this name , Rose is coming in a hurry.She has got a second and a first place win here in the last few weeks. She is a young female that is Double Ranger Bred.She is a direct daughter on top and a great grand on bottom. She will be finished here soon.She is a get gone get treed type in a hurry and is very accurate. Loud yodeling bawl that a kid can call and is a very nice loud mouth TREEDOG! When she is finished and her spring cycle coming up she will be breed to Grch Ntch Pr Crmk Deepwoods Rocket (four wins towards DUAL GRAND) making his and her first litter of pups on the ground and should be some COMPETITION STYLE PUPS ! Hopefully we can get them in good hands time will tell.

Really like the way she is bred...been a lot of winners showing up out of direct daughters of Ranger so its good to see there is another one young enough to reproduce many more good ones!

Allen should have a list of entries posted for the Winter Classic tomorrow. We will see who has one that they think that they can win with and who has one that is just a "prospect".

If a 3 year old still counts as a prospect to make a good showing this year, I plan to turn some heads with turkey this summer. My work schedule has changed for the better so the hunts are easier to attend. As far as a young prospect, my bandit pup is 12 months old and split treeing consistently so he should be making his debut late this summer. Good luck to all and go redbones!

Im excited to hear about any redbone that may do some winning this year!
But everybody already knows Turkey is a winner

....I know I do anyway. He is on my stud dog list to cross one of my finished females to this year. He was impressive the night I saw him go and I dont forget something like that. Ive been watching the videos you post of him and his pups and I think Ive seen enough. I was hoping to see him in a few more big hunts...maybe even some top level money hunts...i think he can win at that level if you can find the time to go. Good luck buddy....who knows...maybe I will see ya there

Prospect

My "prospect" is a 15 month old pup. His breeding was a result of a linebred T-Top female getting crossed on a Rocker/Ice/Jackie bred male.

What my pup has that stands out to me is the ability to get first strike a vast majority of the time and he is also dead independent and has pulled dogs to him that were split less than 100yds away in competition.

I believe with the skill set he has that he will NtCh before he is 2 in limited hunts.

I dont know much about competition hunting yet but Me and my Partner have a year old Male LongTrail Redcoat Lucky Walter That really Impresses me! He is super Independant and confident in himself. He will see hunts this year I may even hunt him at Southern Redbone Days in febuary In my opinion he is a very solid hound for being only a year.

might just have a one that might get hunters looking.been in two hunts won cast both times,first hunt in a pouring rain treed the coon about 50 feet in front of the cast seen the fur ball climbing up tree when the 5 was up ole ricky was in the den,the second hunt she had 325+375 circled and no minus,won her cast and 2nd place,Thanks to my good friend Keith Bowling for handleing tinker for me.

Jr is out of PKC Sliver Silver Ch Gr Nt Ch Jon Henry and PKC Ch,Gr Nt Ch Guitar's Ghost Mississippi. He is coming on good. Hunts real good. Trees coon alone and has a real good mouth. He is super staked and paid up for spring, '16, '17 &'18� I bred him to Nt Ch Mandy II ( 4 wins to Gr Nt.) which was not the norm for me to breed an untitled dog but he does all the things I like to see in a young dog. Probably going to see him later this year, maybe November or December. I like him so far�. Got a foot of snow in that blizzard� Good luck to all! Lucas

Hey Lucas, a foot of snow is not a blizzard no matter what the new folks say. We hardly lock in the 4wheel drive for that small of an amount. lol

Well...

Bout all I can say is I was out in it coon hunting when it started�. This snow aint the fluffy light stuff you folks get in the middle of the country� This is the heavy wet coastal snow. Had the ole F250,power stroke crew cab 4x4 stuck in it yesterday. You can't go kicking your feet through it. The next day after it ices up you might break a leg� I figured though if I posted something it might kill the thread� Sorry Shane. Ole Thread Killer Lucas at it again.
