Question on registering feist

I have a super little male feist but he is not registered and once i find the right female would like to get me a pup off them. Can these pups be registered if the female is a registered dog or will that part even matter? I dont breed just to be doing it and will be crossing on something just as nice or hopefully even better. Any help would be appreciated.

Your male Feist is likely eligible to be single registered with UKC or other KC's. With UKC he would most likely be single registered as a Treeing Feist. If you ever breed him at a later date you would need to breed him to a Treeing Feist female for the pups to be eligible for UKC litter registration. If you have further questions you can give the UKC Registration Department a call and we can explain it in greater detail. 269-343-9020 Good luck with him!

Reg Feist

You have a good looking Dog go to the new rule Book on UKC web site and look at the standards we are having some all feist hunts now and are promoting the Mountain feist Dogs if int you can find us on facebook MFA mountain Feist we be glad to help you any way we can
