Puppies -- Central Missouri

Although early, I have bred my Nt. Ch. Water Ch. Pr' Night Hawk Smoke HTX female to Dual Grand. Nocturnal Tommy Gun dog owned by Larry Hecklin.

The pups are expected approximately January 20. Weaned seven weeks later if all goes as planned.

Larry's dog has done quite a bit of good in the hunts, and I am sure he would be happy to field any questions or take you hunting.

My Smoke female lets a lot of mouth, goes hunting good, and is a much better dog than I am a handler. She looks like a bird dog but has a good mouth. References on both dogs available. I can also provide references on Smoke's pups.

Smoke has a cast win in PK$. She has a win towards Grand, three wins toward Grand Water Champion, and a best in show. She is a trailing type hound.
I owned both of her parents, and hunted with many of the dogs in her pedigree.
Her sire is out of Night Hawk Roy Jr. and Spring River Taz. My female is the only pup he has on the ground.
Her mother is out of Night Hawk Roy and a Hickory Nut Harry female.

The pups should be very loud, and go hunting coons and not trees or question marks on your Garmin.

Pups are born

Smoke had her pups this morning. There are four males and four females.

These pups are doing very well. Four males and four females. They have a lot of white on them.


The Smoke's father of these pups is a dog called Night Hawk Troy. He is a nice pleasure dog owned by a hide hunter who does not competition hunt. I owned this dog specifically to make this cross.
Troy's dad was Gr. Nt. Champion Silver Champion Night Hawk Roy Jr. Junior was an extremely nice dog who produced very few pups.
Troy's mom was a dog called Nt. Ch. Gold Champion Spring River Taz. Taz was an extremely hard hunting coondog. She was one of my favorite hounds I have ever hunted. She hunted too hard for most people, and was extremely kennel quiet.

Smoke's paternal grandsire was GrNitech Night Hawk Roy Junior, who was out of GrNitech Sanders Nitehawk Roy and GrNiteCh Grch Unger's Barracuda Babe.
GrNiteCh. Nitehawk Roy is out of World Ch. Dual Grand Browns NiteHawk Jake and Nt. Ch. Overbey's Joy. This was a very good crosss.


Smoke's paternal granddam as stated above was Gold Champion Nt. Ch. Spring River Tazz who was out of Gr Ch GrNiteChamp Yadkin Tar Rattle Shaker and GrCh. GrNitech Mr. Dee's Big Time Jesse.
