Solid 2 yr male-Dr.Evil,Huck a Buck,Woodstock Grizzly,Swamp Rooster,Main St.
Loaded Pedigree, 2 year old, Solid Tree Dog
Syrus ~ 'PR'SPLICE CREEK DR EVIL'S THUNDER
---'PR'SPLICE CREEK DR EVIL'S KNIEVEL x ‘PR’SLIPKNOT SADIE DOB 11-4-2013. Registered in both AKC and UKC...paid up in UKC Performance Program.
We’re on 300 acres of Missouri’s rich rolling hills just a mile from the Mo River. Splice Creek runs in front of us and a spring fed branch behind. We start our walks there around 5-6 weeks. Nothing better than watching them use tiny noses to explore a lush training ground. Up to date on shots, wormed and microchipped. We cherish our animals hope they’ll enrich the lives of those around them; as our animals have brought us years of joy and recreation. SIRE PEDIGREE
SIRE---'PR'SPLICE CREEK DR EVIL'S KNIEVEL was hard on the tree with our girls (just a year older) by 5 months and solo treed at 7 months. His pedigree is busting with talent. Starting with his sire GRCH GRNITECH'PR'BRIAR CREEK DOCTOR EVIL; CH GRNITECH'PR'WOLF CKEEK DEISEL; GRNITECH'PR'BECK'S PITHOLE CREEK HUCK A BUCK; GRNITECH GRCH'PR'WILCOX THUNDER BINGO; and CH GRNITECH'PR'MICHIGIAN SWAMP ROOSTER (double bred) are a few of the males in Evil Knievel's pedigree and he’s been the fastest starting, most tree-minded dog my husband says he's had in 35+years of owning hunting dogs. Day or night, he’s treed 20 minutes after being turned out.
DAM PEDIGREE
---‘PR’SLIPKNOT SADIE- GRNITECH GRCH’PR’MAIN STREET ROY; World Nt. Ch. Gr. Nt. Ch. Cowles' Big River Jesse; WOODSTOCK GRIZZLY AND MICHIGAN SWAMP ROOSTER (4th Gen) making this litter triple Swamp Rooster bred. We want to thank LeRoy Penny, of Penny’s English for giving us the chance to acquire her (also Evil Knievel’s breeder). Not only does she have a fully loaded pedigree, she’s a sweet girl and has produced some beautiful and plump babies.

6 Months-training, Syrus was really talking! and close
8 Months-1st split tree with sire Evil Knievel (on leash). Husband didn't have the camera so this was taken when they got home. Knievel had a coon daytime treed so Jeff let the Syrus out to see what he'd do. He thought the pup was running the track backward when he turned away from his chopping father but it was a second coon that he put up. The old man says they'll come down to drink on hot days. Syrus was really smiling here, proud of himself.

More Information and photos
The pups at 6 months, the first time they encountered a live raccoon (released shortly after training session). Syrus is the middle dog in the beginning and you can follow him by his half mask and double-chop. Piper (the only female) is the one circling around the edges...she engaged later but was more thoughtful. That is one of the reasons this bloodline does well with Big Game...they don't rush headfirst into things but think things through...(my husband jokes that it can work against you too as they are very clever). Boone (the very big boy) and Huck has the most coloring.

This boy’s an athlete and a heck of a dog. We sent a few of his half brothers (same sire) to the Utah Mountains and they are doing great on bear and lions. The Doctor Evil bloodlines have done very well on large game and we've had good reports to confirm it in our offspring. I have a couple other tracking and treeing dogs available also.

Final round of photos and current info.
Syrus turned 2 on November 4, 2015. He's dual registered in AKC/UKC, and he's a no trash, built for speed, single minded coon dog. He's tall and lean with the muscular build of his sire and grand-sire. He’s got a loud bawl mouth and opens up on the track. See original post above for pedigree and UKC Performance information. Last year he was hunted mostly with other dogs (as we had several pups), and he was getting the job done...this fall he's been hunted mostly on his own. He trees coon either way but he's an independent hunter, and doesn't usually go to dogs on track/treed, but prefers to find his own trail to run. And he hunts hard, they have to. Although we are in prime country, distemper hit the area a few years ago and greatly reduced our raccoon population. That has not caused any issues with running trash, it just means they have to search and get smart...coon aren't easy to find. We have deer in the field in front of our house nightly and next to our garage fairly often and the dogs don't even bark at them. They are no joy when you see and smell them daily, and the dogs run past them without a glance at night.
We are just off the river, in rugged hill country with ravines behind our place dropping hundreds of feet only to rise again. They are turned out for free time and disappear for half the day, enjoying all the land has to offer and learning lessons on their own. Nothing in our area is flat or easy and our dogs are lean and strong with rock hard muscles. We've sent several to the mountains and they've done very well hunting bear and big cats and handling that rough terrain. That comes from the Dr. Evil blood (who is our Evil Knievel's sire). Many of Doc’s pups run big game…those dogs are keen and smart, which helps them stay alive. They are also single minded. They hunt. Look at that gleam in his eye...that dog loves doing what he was bred to do.
We haven't been pushing hard to sell him because my husband wanted to spend some time hunting him by himself; to make sure he was ready without relying on the other dogs and hadn't picked up any bad habits over summer. He's good to go to a great home and he loves to hunt. We've also got a couple other dogs that we’re going to be finishing out in the next few weeks and I'll be posting about them as he gets them back out.
Serious inquires only. You can email me at SpliceCreekRun@gmail.com or call 660-849-2330 if you'd like more information.

What's the price on this nice young hound

I'll send you a PM on his price. I don't post online because we have our dogs priced to performance level. It increases as they hit mile markers in their training. I also have a couple other messages to get out. I had to wait for the new internet billing cycle as I'd used all my data loading the post, bought more and then used it all up too. Thanks for your patience.
Here is a half sibling to Syrus that we also have available.
Ghost will be 3 years old on Feb 20th. He came back this fall from the 17 year old boy who'd got him as a pup. The young man was too busy in school and football and didn't have time for the dog. We took him out and he treed twice in 20 minutes (once before my husband had gotten his light and gear situated) and he's hunted well since.
Ghost (Gray Boy) at 7 weeks on a walk behind the house.
Ghost has his head stuck in the hole, but all the pups really liked that spot...alot!
Evil Knievel - see above for pedigree
Dam's Pedigree and info.
'PR'SPLICE CREEK'S HONEY'D BADGER (Dotty) and sister were consistently split treeing by 10 months, and at 2 1/2 are among the finest hunters and most beautiful we've owned. If you're looking for bench quality we’ve got stunning face and form coming through from GRNITECH GRCH'PR’THOMPSON'S HILLBILLY CLYDE and pure tree instinct with NITECH WOODSTOCK GRIZZLY in the mix. They have it all.
Here are two of the dogs that came from Ghost's litter. We've been really pleased with this cross.
