Seems to be a lot of bear down this way this year food didn't come in real good a lot of places but where there is food you find a mess of bear not so many up high mostly all down low
We aint had a ton of luck findin em this year. If you can find the food you'll find em but where we usually hunt there aint no food. And other groups have been goin in and blastin down on anything black so that just adds to it. Tried a new spot last weekend and ended up killin one 150+ that was tearin up dogs left and right and one 260+ so probably go back there some.

There was a 530lb+ killed a few weeks back in south central VA. near the Pittsylvania/Halifax Co border. Been seeing a lot more over the last few years. Dad works for VDOT and he's seen several road kills and just as many waling/crossing fields, roads, etc...
