Father daughter crosses I have seen work . the best crosses I have seen is when father daughter pup is out crossed on another good line .

when you breed as tight as a father daughter cross you have to also look at how tight of a cross they come from because if it was a tight line bred cross then the out come could be different than if they came from a straight out cross , i have seen it work if it was thought out and you do your home work and i have also seen it not work and you have to be ready to cull and it may be a pup or two or maybe the whole litter because they can be born with a lot of defects from deformed to mental problems , i think this is the reason you see most of the bablen hounds is because they was bred to tight or to close , and the ones you see that was barking when they was loaded in the dog box and still barking going down the highway and still barking out of the box into the woods ..
