Very good looking hound. Appears to be made for speed. You hunted and trained several of the hounds in his pedigree and know why he's a top hound. Has Tramp II sired any pups? You get back to Kansas I would sure like to see him go.

guys for the compliments on Tramp. It means a lot to me because I know all of you have top hounds. Tramp is Bawl mouth trail and tree with a locate that you can call as good as me. He opens on track according to the track. He is a stay put tree dog. He will stay treed alone or in company. the only thing is, if the fang pressure is there Tramp wont be there. Tramp just turned 3 years old and there is only two litters of pups out of him. The oldest ones I think are 5 mo. old. I wasn't interested in breeding him while I was competition hunting him, but now that I have him finished out he is ready to go. We don't have anything bred right now, but we will in the near future. If you think he can help with your program let me know. You can catch me on here or call 601-736-5116. I would like to thank Jerremy Purvis and Chris Fortenberry for all of their help with these hounds.

Scott for those kind words on Tramp. I am pretty proud of him. I haven't hunted him hardly any since I finished him. I been working the young dogs. I told Chris and Jeremy the other day that I was going to start getting Tramp and Ole Sheba out att least once or twice a week. I sure do enjoy hunting them. I enjoyed getting to hunt with you and Creek also Scott, I had a good time. Creek is a good one.

TRAMP 11

Great picture of a Good Man and a Good Hound!!! I have been hunting several times with Tramp 11 and he sounds as good in the woods as the picture of him looks on here. BIG Bawl mouth that carries a long ways, Clean tree hound with no chewing or jacking and stays put and very accurate. The one thing that impresses me the most above all other things is his trailing ability. He can take a bad track and open just right and move it out and get treed with a coon seen at the end. The SAME coon he was trailing. Not one that he just stumbled across. This hound has a great nose and knows how to use it. There are some good hounds in our breed but this hound will hold his on with any of them and get his share. Top notch hound and a Top notch Man.

Thank you so much Steve for the kind words you wrote on me and Tramp. That was sure nice of you. As soon as we can after this State Hunt we need to get togeather and have us another good hunt. Gin got after that 2 hour coon the other night, but he throwed her on that bluff at the road. I did get to see him though when he crossed the road at his usual place. I think if we can get after him again Bo and Tramp can tree him. If they cant, We may have to wait till Chris gets down here with Jazz.

Tramp 11

We just got back from the State Hunt. We didn't hunt Tramp over there this year. We decided to hunt the Gin female. She didn't win, but she did a great job both nights. She did win her cast Sat. night. I got to see a couple of pups out of Tramp and Flirt. Flirt belongs to Mr. Robbie Blackwell of Brookhaven, Ms. I saw a couple of kids leading a couple of Bluetick pups around the grounds and I told Chris that those were about the prettiest pairof bluetick pups that I have seen. Later I caught up with one of the kids that was leading the pups and asked him what the pups were out of and he told me that the mama was a dog called Flirt and their dads name was Tramp 11. I told Chris Man, those pups are out of Tramp. Now you may think I am bragging because they are out of Tramp and I am, but I thought that they were beautiful pups before I knew they were out of Tramp. I caught up with Robbie later and asked him about the pups and he told me the whole litter looked like that and that they were the smartest pups that he had ever raised and they were already treeing house cats and anything else that would climb a tree. He also told me that the pups had some big mouths on them. Their mother the Flirt female is a grand Ch. on the bench and she won over all Grand Ch. Friday at the State Hunt. She also won 1st place in the nite hunt Friday nite. I also got a call the other day from Mr. Chris Redman of Seligman, Mo.. He had bred his Nite Ch. "PR" Redmans Ozark Blue Fly to Tramp. The pups are getting close to 5 mo. old and he told me about the same thing that Robbie did. The pups were all good looking pups, Real Smart and had big mouths on them. I've got one of those pups here and I really like it. Can't wait till it is ready to go to the woods.

I'm sorry that I didn't make it back over there Sat. Eddie. Chris was hunting my female. I was going to come back over there Sat. and just sit around and talk to everyone, but it was pretty late in the evening when Chris got ready to go, so I just decided to stay home, but I will catch up to you some where a little later. Sorry I missed you. Congratulations to you and Crockett winning the Purina Race.

The Misty River Line

I said at some time, I was going to go back and start from the beginning of these dogs that I hunt, at least from their beginning with me and bring it forward to the dogs that I hunt today. There were a lot of other breeders and hunters involved in these dogs through the years and I would like to name them all, but I wont do that for I would surely leave out some important names. The female in the picture above with me (I had a little hair back then) Is Ch. Nite Ch. "PR" Pearl River Blue Ruby. She is the foundation of the dogs that I hunt today. Ruby's sire was Nite Ch. "PR" Burnthorne's blue Tracy owned by Capt. E. L. Burnthorn. Her Dam was "PR" Butler's Kate owned by Mr. Sherman Butler. Ruby was one of the hardest going females that I have ever followed. She was also one of the fastest, and a hard tree dog. If you were running two coons she would tree the last coon up and she would have the meat. Ruby was the first registered dog that I ever walked into the woods with. The pictures that I will use are old and some went through a fire when my house burned in 1992.
