Under ground dog fence???

Any of you ever try one on hounds? Id like to get one but dont know if it would corral a hound or not. Never heard anyone talk about it.

I have a redbone and BMC in one that covers three acres. Works perfect. Have had them chase cats and a deer to the edge but not break the fence. Both were ecollar trained prior to the fence and I think that tone training worked when the collar vibrates when they get close they immediate back away. Now after three years my BMC had a dead battery for se eral weeks and still behaved

I know for some they work great. I think the credit goes to how they were trained and introduced to the fence, You just bury it and put the collar on a hound and it may run through it before it realizes what is going on. Put down the flags and walk it up to the line and let it understand the tone and what then happens and they work.
I have a friend that has about an acre done this way and they are not hounds but big dogs and they know just where to go and when to stop.

I may try a small area to start with just to see what happens.
