dog food prices

dog food price climbed... they said because of fuel prices.. i notice it aint gone back down like fuel prices have... but i didn't really expect it to. just like nothing else will.

I first started feeding black gold 50lb about 13 yr ago. It was $15 a bag for black bag. It went 2 dillers as fuel would go up a quarter lol. When I quit feeding it. It was 29 a bag. It aint came back down none either and for 29 I can get better.

I get natural beef an rice for $23 a bag. No tax and it has been $21 forever. Just went up. Im now mixing it with purina dog chow. Just because I wanna see how it does.

Same here,I feed Diamond Beef and Rice & Chicken and Rice,,$27.99 + tax,,but I'm feeding my pups Purina Puppy Chow,,$24.99+ tax

I been tempted to post something just like this for awhile. Besides the gas prices, what about corn prices (yes I feed purina dog chow and I'm well aware it's corn based, but my old dogs say it does them well). It shot way up when corn and fuel prices shot up and though I didn't like it, I understood that when their cost goes up, ours has to. But now corn and fuel prices are half what they were then and no price reduction in dog feed-whats wrong with that picture!

I don't know where you fellas have been for the last 50 years or so, but I aint never seen a price go down in my life!!!!! Once they get it up there and see you will pay it, you can forget coming back down. It's just that simple.

i feed joy 24/20 26 bucks for 50 lb off my buddy or i can get pride 24/20 in the black bag for 23bucks and some change

I know it's been said before but I don't know any other dog food that gives you 7 dollars a bag off ! Purina does !!

thier still makeing a good mark up on it i use ta feed prime ya but 6 bags ya get 1 free but really thier makeing a big mark up so your really paying for it ya don't get nothing for free

Yall feeding naturals beef an rice have good stools? Mines pretty loose on it. Not hard.Thats on 3 different dogs. Maybe im feeding to much. I started mixing some dog chow with it yesterday.

I feed dog chow year around used to feed the high pro in the winter till they quit making it now when it's cold I just give them a half a can of good can dog food on top of they're feed mine takes a good hunting on it lots of guys try to feed that really high protine dog food in the heat it's hard on the dogs !!

I use the $7 coupons all the time too, but it actually works out to around $4 off per bag. End result is I get 55 pound bags from Sams for $24. Take what the weight circle will be worth ($4) and it ends up $20 for 55 pounds-yes thats hard to beat!

They charge what they want cause we got 2 choices,pay it or do w/o ... I feed Purina Alpo prime cuts,it's been on sale for a while $19.99 to as low as &16.95 55 lb. bags too,normally $21.99.
