Doew Weather Conditions Determine Your Winner

How many think cooler weather 40 to 59 vs 60 to 80 at night determine your winners. I know that some think the best dog wins but I've noticed bigger dogs and sometimes black dogs and blue dogs put on twice better performance in cooler weather. I know my dog is 40 % better in cooler weather but still does good in hotter weather but turns into a bawl mouth tree dog and he's 100 + bark per Minute chop mouth tree dog. I'm not asking for them to change hunt Til October because weather was awesome this weekend but it just makes me wonder. Or heck the ones that perform good in hot weather might be awesome in cooler weather , but just had me thinking.

Different weather, leaves,no leaves, time of year, today, tomorrow, this week, next week. Everyone of those thing would change the winner.

If you took the top 100 and hunted them again next week the probability of it being the same final 4 would be slim.

I wish they would change it to when there are no leaves on the trees. I know it conflicts with deer season, and the almighty duck season, but doesn't hurt to wish.

Let me be the one to go nuts with a proposal. Yes I agree with Joey, in that ever changing element has an effect on the outcome of a competition hunt. Yes temp does play a role, humidity plays a role, clear skies vs over cast plays a role, etc.

I'm of the opinion that hunting the same 4 dogs on 4 separate nights could very well produce 4 different outcomes.

So maybe we should go to a play off series like baseball and basketball does. Then we would know with more certainty which was the better dog. Now we all know thats not really going to happen, but what does it hurt to dream, LOL.

That's the way it really really should be. Get it narrowed down to the top 20 dogs and then make it a double elimination that lasts several nights.
