Gr Nite Ch Gr Ch Littlejohn's Little Arkie blood

I own two Blue females that are close up Littlejohns Arkie blood. This blood is getting harder to find. I am thinking about making a special cross next Spring to really put all of this blood that I can into a litter of pups. If anyone out there has a male that I might use, or semen, let me know. This is all still in the planning stage and may never happen. But, it will not happen unless someone trys...

Very nice looking hound Mr. Edwards. I'm a real big fan of the Littlejohn's Arkie/ Smokey River blood. The two lines really seem to compliment each other.

That is so true!!! This dog has several brothers and sisters that are doing real good. As far as I know, every dog in the litter were naturals from pups on.

I have kind of struck out of some frozen semen from direct sons of Arkie. One will not sell and can't afford another one... BUT still looking... I would to find a double bred grandson...

I never hunted with Little Arkie but I have owned three dogs directly out of him and several grand pups.... No, I have never met Kelly. I may have talked to him on the phone or by message....

Mr. Adkins, I'd like to know a little more about these 2 females. How close do they go back to Arkie, what kind of mouths do they have, how do they hunt, etc.? I don't have a male but I'm interested in a couple pups if you do find a good Arkie male to breed them to.

Both hunt out good. Dixie has a better than average mouth. Queen has a big male dog voice.

Arkie gyps

I'm very interested in getting a female pup out of each gyp if u can get them bred to a real heavy Arkie bred male! Texas is a long way from West Virginia but I'll take a road trip if I have to. I haven't had much luck finding any Arkie bred dogs around here either. They used to be all over this area but they've slowly died out.

I don't know when they will be bred, probably next Spring. I am still looking for potential stud dogs. I have a few grandsons that are available to use...
