Expectations
There is some real good information on this thread if you will study it. I think timing is important. I would want my young dog to be 9-12 months old going into the fall. It should go hunting, run track and be able to tree coons alone by spring. That would be the goal. I also like my dogs to have brains and personality. If they are not smart enough to learn not to bark in the kennel or to not step in their own poop, then they are not going to stay here for long! I like a hound that is just nice to have around the house.

Had a great time hunting with you guys last night. Nice to see three littermates out of the same cross do thier thing and get split tree and have the coons. One has to like that independence and tree power ole Alice puts in her offspring!!
I told you last night I thought about not raising another litter of pups, if I do Alice will be the one thier out of. Gets old raising a bunch of pups after awhile if ya know what I mean!!See you later today when we get the fish fry going!! Later,Danny G.
