How long shoud it take for a new dog to get use to you and start hunting like it did for the previous owner?

New dog

Who knows? There are a number of factors that play into it. Age, previous owner, breeding. Just take your time and keep putting it in the timber. Heck who knows it might get to like you better and hunt harder for you.
