Hunting in Arkansas
I have heard a lot of talk about folks going to N.E. Arkansas from out of state, during they're season and treeing a lot of coons. The guy that was telling me about it said it was on state property and they would tree several coons every night. They would go on a Wednesday and stay till Sunday.sometime during November I think anyway. My contact has since moved on and I have no way of contacting him. I have a couple of young dogs that could extremely benefit from a week or so of good coons like this. Does anyone know anything about this or how I can get in touch with someone that does? I would be coming from southern middle Tennessee. Thanks in advance for any help.

I figure your talking about white river refuge. In December, somwtime it is good sometimes it is crowded.

A game warden friend . Said they have found a lot of dead coon this spring and summer. And have not been seeing many when they were out on the roads the woods or waters. I live about 1and ahalf hours from there and dont like it . Been there 4 times way to many people and dog. Dogs get shot and stoolen. But some like it. Just not for me.

Thank you for that advice. Sure don't want a dog stolen. Good ones are o hard to come by.
