Good deal, it will be interesting if you can track down the rest of the litter. Ole Alice seems to have thrown some nice ones regardless of the stud she has been bred to. Best of luck to you getting them tracked down.

Keep those woodlot coon up that way stretched out & exercised you ole outlaw!

Later,
Vic

Squeak

Well this somes up ole squeak; 95 degrees, 2 coons and a mile apart! Plenty of mouth to go with his hunt . Tickled to death with him but he is still a dog. Misses some and gotta bad curl tail but is a real coon treer!

echo joe x alice

norm
he is a nice coon dog. nice tree dog.nice voice.real good looker needs 1 win to grand on bench. handles nice just drop the lead n heal. hunts in widening circles most of the time.could move faster when hunted alone. cold nose sometimes to much for him to handle but can move out most tracks fast enough. doesn't open on the ground as much as i prefer. good bawl locate,,steady chop on tree. has been a stay put tree dog but recently meeting me off the tree sometimes.(frustrating) comes on the tree fast and has very desirable accuracy. had him in a hunt or two this spring. he did a nice job treed some coon but didn't place. this fall he will get another chance. over all pleased with him.

Danny, what did you gain, or lose, by crossing Echo blood in with Alice?

Compared to what you know about the dogs lonebred on the same stuff as her?

Gonna think on it for a bit and then give you an honest answer with the ones that I started here at the kennel. Then, have to take into consideration what has been given the right chance from what I know about them in seeing it and hear say on some others. Would rather tell ya about what I know to be fact and go from there!! Hear say is just that, what someone else thinks or says!!! Later,Danny G.

John

After thinkin about it and sittin here drinkin a cup of coffee this morning. I don't think overall there is a big difference in them. Couple guys have given some honest info on here already. Much appreciated guys and thanks. Seems like in any cross genes seem to flow one way or the other as far as drive and desire to get treed. Out of the last three I had here, the Hank youngster seems to have that extra but yet still a dog and not perfect. I've hunted him and also have hunted with him alot and he seems well on his way to being very nice and is still young. Truly top hounds I beleve are few and far between at least they have been for my likings in one. I've never hunted with any line bred echo dogs so what I hear is all here say but they seem to be nice and lots of guys like that line of hounds. Certainly got some good mouths but have also gotten it by line breeding but again, some just average mouths in no particular order. Line bred or outcrossed.Would I give another shot at breeding back to that line of hounds! Yes. Always looking for something better! If one never looks to get over the other side of the fence, he stays land locked within his own thouhgts and beliefs!! Most call it being kennel blinded! Later,Danny G.

Thanks for the congrats Danny Hank had a First and 2 second place wins to make nite ch and was in a total of 6 hunts. I think you have made good choices in breeding Alice but I am a little partial to the Echo and Alice cross I like there fire and drive at least in the one I got.

hi Danny

I should have called you, just forgot . I finished White River Shadow to Grnite Grshow a couple of weekends ago. I hunted her for owner Larry Moon here in Arkansas for about 5 months. When i started hunting her she was just a started dog. She is very good build dark . A really good mouth. Real good tree dog. When she trees you will look at a coon. Medium nose, Just a good young dog, getting better all the time.
