Morning hunting

It's 6 o'clock and I am going for a morning hunt I do this with all my young dogs to beat the heat!!

When you get home and have your fill of coffee and donuts let us know how it went.

I try to start about 4 when I go, and always seem to do pretty good. My pups running loose have treed a couple just before dark lately too.

Well I am back got and old sow and babies I found out we're home is I put a feeder not far from it I get in there a little after daylight get a little short hot race hot tree really good on my 8 month old pup he gets exited I get excited we treed them enough that they don't pay no attention to us lol !!!

It's 5:45 and me and Yadkintar ugly spot are going back to the woods we we would take his momma but she don't understand easy coon (pain in the butt) lol

I enjoy drinking my morning coffee and thinking about how your hunt may be going

Had to go and get back to go to church this about all the the hunting I got right now water is 15 feet deep in the bottoms were I hunt when fishing a 50 ft anchor rope will barely catch bottom macie just goes to hard I don't have a place big enough for her right now it sure is a lot of fun with this pup though !!!

Yea I got her timed when she's putting the babies back to bed actually I think she's one I turned loose by that feeder I caught her out of a mans barn eating his feed up she was really tame then we don't concern her much lol!!

Are the morning hunts going to happen this weekend? Gotta get that pup in the timber

Don't know got to be down at the club at 6:00 to start cooking wanting to go fishing in the morning but got chances of rain Friday and Saturday might get to Sunday before church I got to go put out some feed for her and the babies anyway!!

She pulled one on him this morning and took him on a trip big den don't know if she was there or not on my way to bohnum tx to deliver a dog !!

Morning hunts is all I do. Down here the heat is so oppressive that it does not cool off until about 3:00 AM. It is also great for the dogs as you don't hit so many hot tracks, makes them work for the prey.
