got a female off of their Kobe dog . she is average bear dog packs good and will stay with a bear not a hard tree dog and not much of a nose .

I own some great redbones and I hope you find one please no offense meant to anyone but I have never personally see a timber chopper dog do anything but run the food bowl.For those who have good ones God Bless you I just wanted to share my experience with about 8 of them

I bet if you had some way to keep records on all dogs that changed hands in 2015( pups and grown dogs) a really small percentage are hunted enough to really find out what they can do. If you are raising a family, you don't have time to train dogs. That's why so many well advertised breeders breeders have a bad success rate. This is not just a big game issue its happens in all type of hunting. It takes a lot of times in the woods to get a dog in the right setup for him to get good experience. If you can only hunt once a week(year round) don't expect much and don't blame it on the breeder.
