Have u ever order a garmin from over seas

Just wondering if anyone has ever ordered a garmin from over seas from somewhere like the united kingdom or south Africa. I found some a little cheaper but just scared of getting scammed. I would appreciate any in put.

I've seen them too but I'd be worried about getting ripped off too .what about shipping charges after that's added would it still be cheaper ? Piece of mind has to be worth something also. What could you do if you got ripped off by someone in Africa ? It'd be pretty expensive to fly over there and kick their butt.

If its an ebay deal thfey refund your money when it doesnt show up usually a scam

My buddy,just last week called me. He said he just found Garmins on eBay for $85 each. GARMIN 320 dc50 bundle. I told him no way. He ordered them anyway against all our advice. Good thing is at least it was eBay and they have buyer protection. He did get his money back

scam scam scam scam don't do it . garmin regulates their prices through their distributors to a certain margin . anything new that is cheaper than the regular advertised price is a scam you can bet on that .

They will not come with the U.S. Based maps, the cost will make it a wash out.

I just read you guys are talking about the alphas and Astros, it's my understanding that those are U.S. Only devises not to be sold outside U.S. thats the reason I thought you were referring to the regular garmin gps devises.

I would say it's a scam.

I just googled cheap garmin alpha and a company ran by Aruthor Tomblinson
Based out of the Uk came up.They had them for 540 with a tt15 collar.
They want me to send a money order.

I know someone that lost 8k on a tractor in Canada.
At the time Ebay told him its out of the country so there wasn't anything they could do but they were trying.

If you order one and need a place to hunt I've got some ocean front property in Arizona.
