What am I doing wrong

This is my first time setting out feeders with sour corn. I used to get free dog food and had good results with that. But I haven't had any coon hitting my feeders. I used tires and hung them about three feet up so hogs couldn't get to them, and had them snug to the tree. I used grape kool aid for attractant but nothing hitting them. Am I doing something wrong?

How long you had them out ? Probably have a good food source right now and haven't discovered yours yet.

No berries yet. Everything has been flooded so I'm hoping that they will hit it soon. Yea it's stinking. I'll try the next couple I set out with the sugar. Thanks everyone.

And they will stagger off and be unable to climb a tree. Try adding a little yeast also.

Yes i put it in a 5gl bucket, use hot water or the sugar won't dissolve, it will ferment and smell sweet, then put in your tire feeder coons love it, don't matter if the grapes, persimmons, frogs LOL or what ever.

Probably just attract coon hunters, not coons!
