Want hunt turn her loose makes a be line for the truck. Took a cage coon tonight let her see it. Turned it loose in front of her and she went stupid and run into a staub. Back to the truck. Patrick have you been using the shocker collar on her much ? I've seen dogs would break their neck to get back in the box or crawl under the truck every time the truck stopped to put them on off game . I've never witness heat stroke either but heard of dogs quitting after getting over heated . Anyway hope she turns around for you soon .
have blood drawn
Have vet do blood work. Its tick season, lepto, lymes, irlichia etc. Good luck

Sounds like a tick disease for sure. Take her to the vet
Sure hope she comes out of it. Wish I could tell you more, but I don't have a clue. Coming in heat was my first though. But a tick disease could definitely be possible. I'd have her checked for sure. Something may show up in blood work.

Sounds like a tick disease to me. Just put a grand nite thru treatments for doing just what you described. Good luck with her, Jr. Steelman.
A guy in our church had a female do the same thing back in the winter. She went from hunting great, to just quit hunting. He would turn her loose, and she wouldn't leave him, with or without other dogs. She didn't seem sick, so he didn't take her to the vet. She died a few weeks later without showing any signs of sickness. Not saying your female is going to die, but you may want to have her checked out. Good luck with her!

Patrick sounds like erlichia take her for bloodwork
Full throttle jiggs did that and we just took him with hounds and let him do what he wanted to do and he finally came back around.

Glad you took her to the vet.. Good luck with her.. I had a dog do that same thing. He was running a high fever from some virus he had picked up..
