question about waders

Has any one used any Yoder hip waders and are they any count

Posted by Jordan120 on 06-05-2015 11:54 PM:

I have a pair of yoders chaps on a pair of lacrosse arrowhead boots and they are a perfect pair. The chaps hold up really good and the boots are light and aint like the mucks

I started a similar thread lookin for opinions on brands. My General consensus was stone creek chaps wit Bekina boots. I ended up wit stone creek chaps wit muck.

I think I am gonna go with the Dan's they just look tougher and probably going with the new quatro boot instead of muck maybe they will be tough as the muck

Not a big fan of muck. Slippery on wet rock

That was always my biggest complaint about the mucks. I hope the Quatros don't have that problem.

I'm probably one of the hardest real coon hunters in this country 7 nights a week and at least 4 of those I witness the sun coming up. The Yoder chaps are good chaps. They will out last the muck boot. Muck boots are like a pair of dollor store tennis shoes. I can buy a pair today and in 3-4 months they will be busted out. The Dan's chaps are weak they can not take the briars and come un rivaled and start to leak in 6 months. The most junkiest boot on the market is the Dewey boots. Had a brand new pair and the whole sole came off them in 60 days. The best boot and chap I have had is the bekina boot with the nite time supply chaps both are rugged and I haven't tore them up yet going on 4 months. Very tough chap and a very light boot with good grip. If you don't hunt but a couple hours a night 3-4 nights a week any of them will last u awhile but if u live in the timber you better off to order the best and be done with it.

x2

I love my yoder chaps, and the muck boots were really comfortable, but after 1 year and a half the bottom of the boot( on the inside) is wearing down and i probably need a new insole.. however... last night I was in some pretty good rock bluffs, and more than one I slipped on the wet rocks and went sliding down FAST! My next boots will have better grip!

I have a pair of Dan's chaps and there's nothing wrong with them but Stonecreek chaps are hard to beat. They're just made out of a good durable material that holds up well but is lite and easy to walk in.
