Best boots to go over big cavs

I have all ways had to buy boots to big to go over my caves. Wondering if there is a brand that has bigger tops that I can get with chaps? Thanks

My husband was able to fit in the Aeroheads. He previously had some Mucks cut short but hates them, but that might work for you.

call me tomorrow and I will discuss the quarto boot with you. Please measure your calf. First decision is insulated or non insulated. Down here in Florida I wear non insulated. They come in 13" and 16" boots. The 13" should work fine. The lacrosse arrowhead could also work for you. 904-692-1568

I just posted last week where I bought a pair of the 16" uninsulated Quatro boots and they measure about 18" around the top. That's sloppy-big around my calves, especially when I'm wearing shorts under my waders, but I like everything else about the fit and feel of the boot and will have waders put on them.

I am not going into all the detail on sizing but I will say this from my experience. I am 6'4" and weigh over 300 pounds. I have a 19 1/2 to 20" calf. The only boots and chap combo I could wear was the Lacrosse Arrowhead. I had the chaps sewn low for larger legs.
The past two months I purchased the Lacrosse Snake boot without chap in size 13 and could not even get in on my foot.
I purchased a Muck Snake proof boot in size 13 and got it on but it was tight and very hard time getting off.

I got me a pair of the quarto non insulated boot in size 13 that were 13" tall and then have more room in them than any boot I have ever worn. I normally wear a 13 W the the boot had all types of room actually going to wear Bama Socks with them. I then tried on a size 12 in the 16" boot and it fit with maybe an 1/2 play at the calf.

You get you a pair of the 13" boots and you will have more room that you want. I don't think they fit tight on the ankle but, I would call it at best snug. Have to remember there are insulated and non insulated boots and I am talking about the NON INSULATED. The insulated will fit tighter.

If I was in the North and feet didn't get to warm in the summer then the Insulated is the boot I would go with at if just feels better and the insulation seems to give it more structure. Down here I will be wearing the non insulated.

I had some chaps made on some short wetland kicks. I dont see them anymore but these look like they would work here in Ga just the same. You just have to tell some of these vendors what you want. No more calf problems.
