If Batesville won't work out for you far northern guys, BUT with everything that has been held up north for years & the offer they presented to get this hunt in there area, it was a 'NO BRAINER' to give it a shot. You fellas from up north may be real happy , if the other club that presented a bid will put in for it in 2017!!!

NOW, for you southern Bluetickers, if ALL of you boys from that part of the country are not there, DON'T EVER p. & mown about not having it in the far south. I can't make Winter Classic, so am looking foward to heading to a new area. Take care, Ron.

Totally agree

It is an honor to get to host it in the south but we all must support it to make it a success. Southerners we need to show up and hunt if we want to keep this door open in the future. Thanks to the national organization and those that put the bid together for the opportunity. Now we need to put our money where our mouths have been for several years now and support this hunt in our back yard.

We are going to party like its 1999.

We all understand the challenges of holding the biggest bluetick hunt in the world in the month of May in the south. That is why they are few an far between an that's why we need to blow the top of those thing because fir various factors it might not happen again or again in the somewhat near future

Confidant that not only bluetickers in the south but just coon hunters in the south period are want to support this hunt an make sure it's a success. You can't help but want show the rest of the country that we can pull off a big hunt

Southern bluetickers I'm going to start personally calling you soon to invite you to the hunt an ask for some financial support that will strictly go to a prize pool. I'm hoping to set a record for amount of prizes given away at this hunt.

An on a side note how cool is it that bluetick days finally comes to this part of the country again an hometown boy jack smith is getting not only the lifetime achievement award but his an billys dog tramp got voted into the hall of fame. I'm going to count in you Mississippi boys an smokey river boys to make sure to come out an give them the celebration they deserve

An lastly hopefully this will be a good example of how zones can work together. Without zone 7 this would not have happened an y'all are going to get the combined support if two zones an I'm sure there are a few in zone 5 I can think of that's going to b willing to chip in

Remember this the same location ukc picked to move the Winter Classic to. Have no worried about the location all the homework had already been done for us an as a member if zone 6 this is the only location in our zone that I feel it could work at. It's going to be a bigtime

No gator problem there. It's to far north! Yes you might see some snakes but they have never been a problem. The hunting is wonderful and the people are great. Very nice camping and lodging at an affordable price. These folks went out of their way to help us get this event there. The temperature will be about the same as it was this year in Kentucky. The greatest thing is we can all be inside the fairgrounds in the air conditioning! We have zero set up and zero clean up! The cost of the fairgrounds is covered plus $500 added for high scoring dog

I know it may be a good drive for some of you but please come and help us support our breed. I think most will find it to be a great location after attending. God bless

yes the food is great! I just about have a deal worked out to have a crawfish boil one of the days too

the cabins at Sardis lake 10 miles away are very nice and cheap

100 dog hunt in Batesville facility could be held in the facility lobby. Hunters from southern states need to show up with blue in hand. Twelve to 15 hours to Angola was OK. Guess 12 to 15 hours to Batesville shouldn't be a problem by northern boys. A hunt of 150 to 200 hounds is possible if supported by hunters.

I do believe the members up north that support the organization will come out and support the event no matter where it is held. they did vote in favor of the event being held in Mississippi so I expect they will come give it a whirl. thanks again to those of you that voted in favor and give us a chance to host this event! I believe this will be the largest and most profitable bluetick days held in years, but we will see
